Yesterday was a great day for my little buddy Kelton. I can't believe he is six years old now. Where does the time go? Kelton woke up about 2:00am with a fever of 102.5. My usual response to his fever would have been...."Holy crap you have a high fever - you are sooooooo sick!" Instead of responding in a negative way, I said "Kelton you are not sick at all, you don't have a fever. You need to just tell yourself that you feel good". He started to say to himself "I feel good" and after a while he started feeling better. After falling asleep and getting some good rest he woke up and the first thing he said to me was "I feel good".
They were going to head to the mountain to go snowboarding, but we decided to stay close and hang out around town. We went to Fongs and hit the movie house where we saw a cute show Night at the Museum. After a while he started feeling a little bit yucky so we decided to go home and relax. He was able to enjoy most of the day feeling like a champ. I still can't believe he is six years old! Wow, time sure flies.
